Pilot-2-Profit (“P2P”) is an accelerator is for early-stage, BIPOC founders who are seeking pilots for their solution. It is an intensive training program designed with industry specific content, funding opportunities, mentorship, technical expertise, pilot testing opportunities, and access to energy professionals.
We are committed to leveraging the power of science, engineering, and technology to support founders who are focused on solving complex climate and environmental issues. Their solutions will help to reduce carbon emissions and have a positive impact on communities of color which often bears the brunt of climate and environmental injustice.
This program is designed for tech and tech-enabled startups seeking pilot opportunities for their clean energy solutions.
Solutions aimed at optimizing energy usage and resource allocation to reduce environmental impact and increase productivity.
Solutions related to personal and public mobility such as EV, EV charging, and infrastructure.
Solutions including but not limited to battery recycling and 2nd life applications, stationary energy storage providers, and grid service providers.
Solutions that increase clean energy accessibility to low-income and historically disadvantaged communities.
Solutions related to solar, geothermal, wind, and wave technology.
Solutions for quickly and efficiently lowering carbon emissions from mobility by use of organic sources.
Each company must meet the following criteria:
Hand-on support through our network of industry experts and business leaders.
A series of sprints to refine go-to-market strategy and establish product-market fit.
Preparing startups to raise funds. Opportunities to network with investors and potential strategic partners.
Access to a network of industry experts in areas of finance, business development, engineering, commercialization, and more
Upon completion of the program, we will work with each startup to secure paid pilots to jumpstart their journey.
The P2P 2024 cohort will kick off with virtual sessions in June. The sessions on August 1-3 will be held in Atlanta alongside the Network-4-Success conference at the Accelerating Climate Resiliency and Renewable Energy (ACRRE) Convention.
We require 1 founder (the same person) to participate in all activities. The participating founder must be BIPOC and based in the US. 1 additional team member is welcome to join the workshops.
There is no fee to participate in this program. Green Power Ventures will cover the cost of meals and accommodations for the in-person sessions during the ACRRE Convention.
Participants are responsible for their travel to and from Atlanta in August.
